I created the MathPuzzleWiki in March of 2010 as a way to keep track of my favorite puzzles, brain teasers, and the like. I wanted to have a database of the best puzzles and their instructional content, and a wiki seemed like the easiest way to accomplish this.
Since its creation, I am told that it has been a useful resource for a number of math teachers, and I hope this is true. We have had a few of contributers to the site besides myself and I welcome anyone else who would like to share a puzzle, or improve one already here. Check out the ways to contribute page if you need ideas of where to start.
Moving forward I hope to include more puzzles, but also more detail on the mathematical content of puzzles, and ideas of how to use them in the classroom.
Enjoy,
Oscar Levin - MathPuzzleWiki founder.
